This new Mercedes-Benz will be run by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that pumps out 530 horsepower as well as 590 lb/ft of torque. It can also get from 0-60 miles per hour in a mere 4.2 seconds! The 2013 SL63 AMG is also breaking barriers as it is much lighter, 275 pounds lighter, than the vehicle it replaces coming in at 4,059 pounds. Mercedes-Benz was able to do this by using a lot of aluminum for the body. To be more specific , Mercedes-Benz stated that the aluminum body also features high-tensile steel and magnesium for a light, but super strong frame. Mercedes-Benz said that it took seven years worth of development to get everything just right, but the final product is well worth the wait.

Alabama Mercedes-Benz Plant Near Top In US Production
